Online Strength Training Program Sample
Monday I received two emails asking for more information on our online strength training programs. So for this week’s post, I’ve decided to explain exactly how the program works and provide examples of exactly what you receive as an online client.
The process begins with a few emails to collect preliminary information. You will fill out a questionnaire, and in a few days you will receive from me a sample program, printable workout sheets, and instructions on how to follow the program. This two week trial-program is FREE.
When you’re happy with the trial program, we have two options moving forward: 1) A 3-month program with a pre-training assessment (which grades flexibility, stability, movement ability) or 2) A 3-month program without a pre-training assessment. The assessment requires you to provide a video of the athlete performing a routine of body weight exercises, core, and flexibility tests. I will send you a video demonstrating the exercises, and send you instructions as well.
After I receive the video of your assessment (or not), I create your program in Microsoft Excel. Your program sheet will look like this:
The warm up circuits and strength training exercises are hyperlinked to YouTube video demonstrations. To this point, I’vre kept the video routines and exercise catalog unlisted on YouTube so only the online clients can view them. Here are some examples:
Hopefully you’re thinking “I can do that”, or “I don’t need a gym for those”. That’s right, you can and you don’t. Regardless of the facility or equipment you have available the program will match your capacity and progress toward your goals.
One more thing, you’re not just buying workout sheets or videos. You’re hiring me! I’m the coach as well as customer service to ensure all of your questions are answered and the program is continuously monitored and adjusted appropriately.
