20/20 Conditioning for Softball Practices
In this week’s video, I demonstrate a body weight conditioning circuit that you can install after your preseason or in-season practices. This circuit is easy to coach and will increase or maintain your athletes’ fitness, but will not leave your athletes too sore or stiff the next day.
Do you do this circuit everyday after practice, or every other day? Also, what about once games start and you are pitching and then perhaps pitching the next day – do you do this workout at the end of the game knowing you are pitching another game the next day?

Hi Bill,
This type of training would be appropriate 1-3x/week during the season depending on the number of games that week. I would perform the workout after practice and/or games, however I would hold off on conditioning the day before a game. Some short sprints or limited base running would be more appropriate.
